About Hillerød

Hillerød lies right in the heart of North Sealand, surrounded by the lush Gribskov (forest) and the historic Frederiksborg Castle as a distinguished center. The city has an active cultural life with lots of experiences within music, art, theater and film – and the charming pedestrian streets and shopping malls offer plenty of shopping, cafés and restaurants. FrederiksborgCentret is located 10 min walk from Hillerød station and Hillerød Center.

Hillerød is located 35 min drive in car and train from Copenhagen Center and Tivoli, and 25 min from Helsingør.

It takes approximately an hour to get from Copenhagen Airport to Hillerød by Metro (M1 to Nørreport) then change to the Strain (Purple E line) onwards to Hillerød (end of line). From the station it takes about 10 minutes by foot to reach Frederiksborg Centret, which is the venue of the tournament.
